Agrizoophobia

Agrizoophobia (from Greek ἄγριος – agrios, “wild”, ζῷον – zōon, “animal” and φόβος – phobos, “fear”) is a common term used to describe a fear of wild animals. Many people suffer from agrizoophobia, especially those who were raised in isolated urban areas. This is particularly true of individuals born into an urban lifestyle.[citation needed] Resources are available to assist those who suffer from agrizoophobia, such as counseling and support groups.
